Scope of Work
Bishop Home and Lawn Care Co. provides cosmetic, non‑structural home‑care, lawn‑care, cleaning, and general property‑readiness services. We do not perform work requiring a licensed contractor under California law.
Client Acknowledgment
By hiring Bishop Home and Lawn Care Co., the client acknowledges and agrees that:
- Services are performed on an “as‑is” basis using reasonable care and standard practices.
- The Company is not responsible for pre‑existing damage, hidden defects, unsafe conditions, or structural issues.
- The client is responsible for ensuring safe access to the property, including securing pets, unlocking gates, and removing hazards.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Bishop Home and Lawn Care Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- The client agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims arising from unsafe property conditions, client‑provided materials, or misuse of the property after service.
Assumption of Risk
The client understands that minor cosmetic work, cleaning, and yard maintenance involve inherent risks (e.g., dust, debris movement, plant disturbance) and accepts those risks.
